Ingress protection ratings is the level of protection given by a casing, against solids and water. The letters 'IP' are followed by two values The first value of the IP rating refers to protection against solids say dust, while the second refers to protection against liquids (sweat).
Scoring IPX5, the JEET W1S's rating is read as, the first number of X denotes that no data available to specify a protection rating, and the second value of 5 means that they can withstand medium pressure jet that's 6.3mm diameter, similar to garden hose from any angle for 3 minutes at a distance of 2.5 to 3 metres.
In comparison to the JEET W1S, Mpow Flame S have a rating of IPX7 meaning that
we are not yet certain of their rating with solids (dust)
and that of liquids is that,
JEET W1S has a lower liquid rating than Mpow Flame S
The JEET W1S have a weight of 18g . We prefer a lower weight better because lighter devices are easier to transport.
The JEET W1S come with wingtips, these are reserved for earbuds for workouts and are usually an optional add-on to each silicone ear tip for a more secure fit.
Mpow Flame S too have wingtips, by resting against the triangular fossa and form a secure fit to match vigorous movement, they are best suited for sports and other physical activities. When applied correctly, they prevent the earbuds from falling off.
JEET W1S are resistant to sweat
Mpow Flame S's resistance to sweat makes both devices fit for use during long-distance running, marathons, cardio sweat workouts , etc
JEET W1S have stereo speakers, what this means is that JEET W1S's speakers deliver sound from separate channels on both left and right sides, this creates a richer sound and a better listening experience.
Both Mpow Flame S and JEET W1S have stereo speakers
ANC uses more advanced kind of tech to reduce ambient sounds. ANC works when, it studies the sound pattern of incoming noise and generates a mirror signal to cancel it out. Simply put, it's like taking +1 (noise) then producing -1 (inverted noise) giving 0 resulting in a reduced level of noise.
The Mpow Flame S have Active Noise Cancellation enabling you to listen at lower levels of volume, causing less ear fatigue since you don't have to crank up the earbuds volume to outcompete background noise.
JEET W1S stay well in place, this creates an acoustic covering that reduces background sounds well as preventing the earbuds sound from leaking out at the same.
Both of these devices have passive noise reduction which implies that both reduce ambient noise instead of actively using ANC to cancel it out.
The JEET W1S driver unit is 11mm in diameter, the bigger the unit the more powerful, and can produce better bass. The driver unit is the component that makes sound in the device, its size dictates the sound made by the device.
The JEET W1S's lowest frequency is at 20Hz, low-frequency response measures if and how well an audio device generates low frequencies that can be heard, and if it alters the signal while at it.
JEET W1S's highest frequency is at 20000Hz, high-frequency response shows how well an audio device makes high human frequencies and if it adjustments to the signal on its way through.
SPL, is the level of pressure of sound, in decibels, dB, JEET W1S's measurement is 93dB/mW. Devices with a higher sound pressure level are generally louder when supplied with any given audio source.
The JEET W1S's battery life is 11 hours, these last longer than 5 hours of listening which is considered average before recharge. A device's battery life is given by the manufacturer, and with longer battery life, you get to use it for longer and requires fewer chargings.
Mpow Flame S's battery life is
more than that of JEET W1S by 1 hours
. Each time you recharge your earbuds, they get a little less playing time. The effect is barely noticeable at first, but over a few years, your wireless earbuds will no longer play for long like they used to.
The JEET W1S have a battery level indicator, an indicator notifies you when the earbuds has a low battery. Its lights indicate the charging state of your device and charging case.
Mpow Flame S too have a battery level indicator, charging indicators allow you determine the charging state of your earbuds, if charged fully, or having a low battery.
The JEET W1S have Bluetooth version of 4.1, Bluetooth is a wireless technology standard that enables data movement between devices placed in range, using short-wavelength, ultra-high frequency radio waves.
Mpow Flame S has a Bluetooth version of 5,
newer than that of JEET W1S
. Newer versions provide faster data transfers.
The JEET W1S have a 10meters distance to connect via Bluetooth.
Mpow Flame S have a maximum range of 10meters,
equal to that of the JEET W1S
JEET W1S support AAC, a codec that is used for Bluetooth audio. It supports 24-bit audio at 250kbps. Because it uses psychoacoustic modeling, it can provide better results than other codecs at the same bit rate.
Since its the highest quality codec that any Bluetooth-supporting Apple product supports, the JEET W1S will work fine with your iPad. If you intend on using these with Android , ensure that they also support aptX HD, LDAC, or LHDC as well.
The Mpow Flame S support AAC as well. Designed to be the successor of the MP3 format, AAC generally achieves higher sound quality than MP3 encoders at the same bit rate.
The JEET W1S support LDAC, a codec developed by Sony
which allows streaming high-resolution audio over Bluetooth connections at up to 990 kbps at 32 bit/96 kHz.
It can reach a high bitrate of 990kbps, which provides high-resolution audio.
Mpow Flame S support it as well, LDAC, can automatically change to a lower bitrate of 330kbps or 660kbps to increase stability.
The JEET W1S support APTX Adaptive, an audio codec for Bluetooth devices that are developed by Qualcomm. It has a variable bit rate (between 279kbps and 420kbps).
Mpow Flame S support APTX Adaptive as well which means both can adjust the bit rate for different scenarios, such as listening to HD audio from other devices.
JEET W1S support APTX Low Latency, a codec developed by Qualcomm. It uses Bluetooth 5.0 technology to provide low latency audio (around 40ms), which is useful when you want to avoid audio lag for example when playing games.
The Mpow Flame S support APTX Low Latency as well
The JEET W1S support APTX HD, an audio codec for Bluetooth devices that are developed by Qualcomm. It supports high-quality 24-bit audio (at a bit rate of 576kbps).
Mpow Flame S support APTX HD too.
Latency refers to the time it takes for the audio signal to be transmitted to your earbuds. JEET W1S have a latency of 88ms, a lower latency reduces audio lag and is particularly important when playing games or watching videos.
The Mpow Flame S have a noise-canceling microphone, these microphones are intended to reduce background sounds from the desired sound.
JEET W1S support ambient sound mode, which uses microphones to pass through ambient noises so that they can still be heard even while wearing the earbuds
The Mpow Flame S support ambient sound mode as well, helpful when you want to listen to music while being aware of what’s happening around you, say you’re having a jog but still want to be able to hear traffic.
